It’s a simple mission at the core of it: We strive to find new and creative ways for today’s churches, pastors, worship leaders, and laity to incorporate historical confessions into their everyday liturgies and lives.

Now, there’s certainly more to it than that. For reasons that we don’t really want to point any specific blame at as that is not the tone we wish to take, usage of historical confessions and documents such as the Heidelberg Catechism in worship has dwindled in many churches across denominations and across the country. This initiative seeks to reclaim the rich theological tradition that these confessions and documents helped to build and to better catechize our congregations in a way that is sympathetic to to the modern church and its needs.
